Today we have the AWESOME Stacey Lynn here with us today!!!!
ARABB: Thank you for taking time to do this interview with us today Stacey! Tell us a little about yourself, your background and your hobbies!
Stacey: Thank you so much for having me! I’ve been married 11 years and am a mom to four young kids, three boys and one girl. Our house is crazy busy and hella-fun. (and LOUD! :-)) I first published my first book almost two years ago. I wrote it as sort of a “bucket list” item, something I’ve always wanted to do, but when I was writing it, I was never certain if I would publish it or not. I’m so thankful that I did. These last few years has been a wild ride!
I love to run and workout, anything on the water – boating, skiing, fishing. Downhill skiing, crocheting, knitting, reading definitely, cooking
ARABB: We are glad you hit publish too! 🙂 So what books have you written?
Stacey: Just One Song, Just One Week, Don’t Lie To Me, Try Me, Remembering Us, and a four-book biker series: Point of Return, Point of Redemption, Point of Freedom, and Point of Surrender. I have a new erotic romance series releasing in April under a new pen name, S. Layne, and some other exciting projects I plan on announcing soon.
ARABB: You sure have a been busy! What Genre are your books?
Stacey: All of my books are romance books. One is New Adult, a couple are Erotic Romance, a couple are Contemporary Romance, and the biker series is a mixture of Contemporary Romance and Romantic Suspense. I love writing whatever stories pop into my head, regardless of what romantic genre they fall under.
ARABB: Who are some of your favorite authors?
Stacey: John Grisham, Danielle Steel because she’s who I read that first made me fall in love with romance books, Colleen Hoover, Chloe Neill, A. Meredith Walters, Kelsie Leverich, Alesandre Torre, Sawyer Bennett, Kristen Ashley, Madeline Sheehan, ….so many more!
ARABB: VERY good list of authors!!! How about TOP 5 Favorite Books?
Stacey: SOOO HARD! This is like asking me to choose my favorite child, but some ones that pop into my head first are:
1. The Babysitters Cluhttps://arisqueaffairbookblog.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.phpb Series (I still have an autographed copy by Ann M. Martin!)
2. John Grisham’s early books – A Time to Kill and The Firm.
3. Twilight Series
4. Slammed and Point of Retreat by Colleen Hoover
5. Chicagoland Vampires by Chloe Neill
ARABB: I know so hard so many good books out there!!! What is your current Work in Progress and can we get a sneaky peak??? Pretty Pleaes! ❤
Stacey: ENTICE is releasing in April. It’s a completely sexy new series under S. Layne. Here’s a small excerpt:
“I love you.” His head dips, his lips press harshly against my forehead, and his hand leaves my chin to wrap around the back of my neck. I’m frozen stupid.
I love you. I want to say. I hate you. I want to say that, too.
Instead, I exhale a shaky, trembling breath because I no longer remember how to breathe softly and calmly. Not for weeks. He’s stolen my damn breath in the worst of ways, and I’m left feeling knotted and twisted up, all the damn time.
Yet I still can’t pull away from his tight grip. Even if I have to leave.
“I have to go,” I mutter through a thick voice. He’s had enough of my tears and my shouts in the last month. I refuse to let him see more.
His lips leave my skin, but where they just pressed, there’s a burning sensation in the center of my forehead. As if he just marked me. I feel his breath tickle my nose when he leans his forehead
ARABB: Ok, thats not fair! Now I want more!!!!! Do you have a Book Boyfriend???? If so who and from what book?
Stacey: Jesse Ward from This Man Trilogy by Jodi Ellen Malphas
Travis from Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire
ARABB: Mmm definitely swoon worthy men! Thank you sooo much for being here with us today! Do you have any links that you would like to share with us!
Stacey: Thank you for having me!
