**About The Author**
David Michael is the author of The United Series – a five-book paranormal romance series – and the Dick Dynasty Trilogy.
His passion for writing was born of his passion for reading. He spent his childhood escaping into the worlds created for him by authors and has always aspired to join their ranks. After the publication of his first novel, he couldn’t be stopped.
David lives in Salt Lake City, hates the snow, loves his pets (two cats and a dog), and more often than not can be found sitting in front of his laptop in his underwear hammering away at the keyboard (usually chatting on Facebook). He’s a firm believer that what you put out into the universe comes right back to you and always looks for the silver lining around the rain clouds in life.

I was given an arc of this book in exchange for my honest review.
When I first read the synopsis of Porter, I thought how different it sounded. I mean, ‘Dick Dynasty’ is part of the title. I knew right from the start that David Michael had a sense of humor, so I jumped in with both feet.
It was a light read that had a few laugh out loud moments (Becks & Mitch). The story line was original, but it fell short (for me) in a few parts.
This book is Porter’s book, yet the best parts included Becks & Mitch or his brothers. I also felt like the connection with Porter and Holly was rushed. I know this is book #1 and the author has to give a bunch of backstory, plus set up the story for book #2. But once Porter and Holly get together, you are’t given very much. Before you know it, it says several months have passed and you miss out on their budding relationship. I feel like the build up just wasn’t there. Holly also came across a little too cold, for me. We know she’s a stunner (based on her description), but her personality was slightly missing.
The end part of the book was sorta crazy! It totally caught me off guard (in a good way). So if you think this is just a book about a male porn star, there is so much more.
This being said, I’m pretty sure that Parker’s book is coming next (based on how this one ended). This does end in a cliffhanger, but that shouldn’t be a huge surprise since this is part of a trilogy.
