Review
This is my first Lindy Zart book and it will definitely not be my last (I’ve already 1-clicked Unlit Star…).
Dreams had to be chased, or they were never caught.
This novel is what I love about reading. Lindy completely sucks you in with her words that touch your soul and open your eyes to the unexpected. The best moments in life are often in those unforeseen moments when you fall, completely, with your entire heart.
This book is about a journey. It’s the journey into love in its most raw form. It’s selfless and honest and just…. beautiful. Words can’t do it justice.
The truth was more likely to be whispered than shouted.
I finished this a few days ago and I still have that ache in my chest. I normally jump right into another book, but this time… I can’t. I need to let myself process. The ending hints at what’s to come and that…. it’s a lot to digest and my heart isn’t ready to acknowledge it yet.
It takes a gift to write a novel like this one. A novel that will stay with you long after you read the last page. A novel that will haunt you for years to come. It embeds itself into your skin and becomes a part of you. You’ll look at the world around you in a different way. Everything will become clearer. When you meet the one who holds the missing piece to your heart… you jump in with both feet and never look back.
People generally needed to see things for themselves in order to believe them.
Steady as the Snow Falls is very different, but it’s one you NEED to read.
5 out of 5 stars
